At Ponds we don’t make any claims that
the spiritual life is easy, nor do we have ten simple steps to success. We
recognize that the yearning you feel is an invitation by God to begin a
journey, a pilgrimage of sorts, that will require us to navigate unchartered
waters of personal faith.
This journey is not done alone but in a loving, nurturing community of faith. Through healthy relationships you will find the right environment for undertaking this next step in your life.
This website will provide you with the means to take the next step and get connected whether it be information about the children's ministry, adult discipleship, or mission trips. If you don't find what you're looking for you can reach us at 201-337-6744 or by email at info@pondsreformedchurch.org.
Ponds
Reformed Church has served Christ in the Oakland community since 1710. It is affiliated with the Reformed Church in
America, the oldest Protestant Church in America with a continuous history. The
first Reformed Church congregation began to worship in New York City in
1628. The name “Reformed” is taken from
the great body of Churches who in the 16th Century Reformation
sought to reform the church according to the Word of God. Our church is part of the Presbyterian family
of Churches, sharing in the same kind of belief and government, confessing
Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world.
